Croston area

We have a couple of Tawny Owls in the Grape Lane area being very vocal every night at present.
The garden birds have been joined by a nuthatch and regular visits by a few tree sparrows and LT Tits.
On 6/12 There were about 500 Pinkfoots overhead between Croston and Mawdesley late afternoon. They were high up and heading NE. Later that evening I heard more calling at about 8.20pm.
This morning before 8.00am there was a buzzard over my garden which disturbed the Jackdaw roost in the nearby trees - no alarm clock required around here!
