Broad-leaved helleborine, Anglezarke 13 Nov 2011

Post by Ian Whittle »

A friend, David Norton, found a late flowering broad-leaved helleborine at Anglezarke on Sunday. His e-mail and images are attached.

''Attached are three of the photographs that I took on Sunday 13/11/2011 of the Helliborine at Anglezarke map ref. SD620161.

It was growing alongside the path between the eastern end of the Lower Anglezarke Car Park and Moor Road. It's not a proper path just a short cut about 4 or 5 metres long.
I think Chorley Nats. will be interested because of the late date and I appreciate you posting it on their forum.
Many thanks
Regards
David''
