I was up with the larks this morning( only heard them :D ) got down early with the hope of some owl sightings , all i had was a little owl( heard) and a possible long eared which was more likely to have been a buzzard ( but the bird did head for the thick scrub near the railway line in poor light) its a bird which i hope to find on the moss this winter , other birds :- male hen harrier ( mawdesley side near railway ) been on the moss for a full week now :D , peregrine on another pylon , 1 buzzard , 2 kestrel , heard several snipe in the dark and spotted one feeding , heard at least 2 grey partridge coveys , 2 noisey raven , large flocks of corvids first light , small numbers of reed bunting/ yellowhammer , feeding station , several tree sparrow , 4 bullfinch , brief glimpse of the willow tit feeding with a blue tit on the willows across from the feeding station , pinkfoot 100 and 25 .
