Just been down to see if any redwing have arrived but drew a blank ( they are few days late) birds spotted:- 1 grey wagtail , small numbers of blackbird and song thrushes , 5 mallard , 1 sparrowhawk was hunting the hedgerows .

I havn't seen any in the area yet either, had a quick walk around Tinklers fields this morning - 6 snipe and a gt.spotted pecker were the best birds seen in the blustery wind.
