Ricky Hoyle heard a small party of Crossbills flying over Market Walk today.

On Thursday (29/9) he had Golden Plover, 2 Wheatear and Raven on the Chorley side of Winter Hill.

Yes it is, but I don't what he's been doing, I'm on 118. What about you Gary? I should think you're more than that!

Gary, the total number of species seen in the Chorley area in any given year, including escapes, is usually between 150 and 155. A lot of these will be single records, so if you're getting around 120 in a year you're doing pretty well. Maybe we should have a competiton next year. :D
