Top Lodge:-The Water Rail put in two or three cameo appearances before scuttling back into the reeds. 5 Snipe were on the edge of the reeds and a Grey Heron was fishing, as was the Kingfisher which disappeared down a channel. A buzzard was calling overhead.
Big Lodge:-Pair GC Grebes and juvenile, 2 adult Mute Swan and 2 cygnets, single Tufted Duck, c100 Mallard, 6 Moorhen, 10 Coot, 30 BH Gull, Grey Wagtail, 2 flocks LT Tit, several Nuthatch
Copperwood lodge:-Mute Swan, 20 Mallard, Kingfisher and Nuthatch
