Last night after dark Tawny Owls were heard in the garden.
Two House Martins were feeding over the former quarry mid morning.
Only two butterflies today a Red Admiral and a Small Tortoiseshell that became quite friendly for a moment or two!!

There was a fox hunting on the former quarry at 7:30 this morning, it disturbed a flock of around 30 Meadow Pipits.
