Significant passage of Siskin this morning with at least 50 birds in small parties seen. There was also a party of a dozen Lesser Redpoll as well as the ususal resident birds. Plenty of Swallows also moving along the moorland edge and through the fields. One or two Chiffchaff were singing.
Along the Goit towards the drained lodge there were around 30 Fly Agaric in various stages of development. Much of the other fungi such as Penny Bun, was past its best.
