Croston raptors .
Working in croston today not far from the twinlakes/sewage works , the first good bird of the day was a peregrine which was flying at a height before going into a dive towards the moor road area , the highlight of the day was a hobby which was hunting behind the de trafford pub the hobby was flat out chasing a house martin ( it was the house martin alarm calls which made me look up) finally a sparrowhawk was hunting the back gardens, not a bad days birding while at work .
