Chiffchaff call.

Working in eccleston today when i spotted a chiffchaff in the hedgerow of the back garden , the bird was giving out its normal contact call ( whoeet) when the call went into a extended trill , ive never heard this before .

Chiffchaff singing on Snipewood, Eccleston this morning and another seen in a bush on Larkfield. A Wheatear was on Bannister Green yesterday.

A good sighting for Eccleston Rick , i normally get the odd spring sighting , but i have only had one autumn sighting on tinklers lane fields the other year .
