A lot of clay pigeon shooting. Also the last 3 houses in Back Drink House Lane for sale - I wonder what's going on there.

Plenty swallows around and woodpigeon around. Also lots of goldfinch including a flock of about 50 (with many juveniles). 5 linnets in a group, Mistlethrush, 8 yellowhammers, reed bunting, moorhen, pair of crows, tree and house sparrows, blackcap. Chaffinch and other garden birds.

Field vole hunched up on the path. It must have been ill / injured as it didn't attempt to scurry away but did take an offering of grain from me.
