Heapey Lodges:- a pair of GC Grebes on No.1 with 2 chicks, and a pair on No.2 with one chick indicate - along with the newly hatched chick at YVP - a slightly better breeding season for the species compared to the last two or three years. Also at the site Mallard c40, Moorhen, Swallow, House Martin, small flocks of Goldfinch, Greenfinch and House Sparrow, Willow Warbler, Robin singing
Insect:- Meadow Brown
Mammal:- Rabbit 3
and vast expanses of those floral delights of summer:- Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam, Rosebay Willowherb and Ragwort
Anglezarke:-Grey Heron, Cormorant 7, Kestrel 2, LBB Gull 20, BH Gull 12, Nuthatch
Upper Rivington:-Grey Heron 2, Canada Goose 4, Swallow
Lower Rivington:-Cormorant 4, Common Tern, BH Gull c20, LBB Gull
