Eccleston Tinklers Lane to St.Marys.

Post by John Edwards »

Tinklers lane fields were almost devoid of birds apart from 60+ wood pigeons and the usual Carrion Crows the only highlight being a Buzzard untill I reached Syd Brook with a Gt.Spot.Wood put in an appearance closely followed by a Kingfisher flying up the brook in the direction of the Robin Hood.
The North side of the River had a mixed flock of Tits with at least 1 Chiff Chaff amongst them, a small flock of 7 Stock Doves flew over, 1 Moorhen on the River and 2 Lapwings on the field next to the derelict farm were my first here for a while.
