Charm of Goldfinch at rear of Library House early today

You often see goldfinch and sparrows etc. on the whole patch of scrub land behind Library House which leads to the Jobcentre.

Your quite right Bryan, I have seen more finches (goldfinch/linnets) on this small stretch than on a long country walk. However, this year I haven't seen a Greenfinch in this area. In fact I have not seen many at all in any area I have visited. Other members may comment on this.
