Proud Mallard Mum & I counted 11 young on the big lodge this morning.

Mid afternoon at YVP.

Mallard, Magpie, Coot, Moorhen, Mute Swan, 2 Common Terns (on raft) Reed Bunting, Nuthatch, Dunnock, Grey Wagtail, BH Gulls, Blue and Great Tits, and (first I've seen at YVP) a Common Sandpiper on the raft closest to the car park.

The Common Sandpiper was perched on the tern raft fence this evening, and was being tolerated by the single tern present.
