Waxwings?

Birdguides is showing Waxwings in Chorley. Does anyone know any more?

Ian,

Birdline has 27 Waxwings south west of Chorley - in the grounds of Wrightington Hospital! Unfortunately outside our recording area. It might have been better described as north west of Wigan!

I reported 27 Waxwings this afternoon to RBA. They were going to roost in trees in one of the carparks at Wrightington Hospital. It came on the pager as "....SW of Chorley", this, I presume, to give some idea of the whereabouts of Wrightington. Birdguides might have flagged it up as Chorley on the Birdmap...

Edit - Must have posted at the same time as you Neil !
