4 Whooper Swans today on No 1 Pit plus Bittern reportedly present since Friday and confirmed by regular site birders today on Meadow Lake. Seen at dusk flying from the east side adjacent to the Village to the north west corner towards to Motorway. Landed in the entrance road corner of the lake. 2 Hawfinch seen flying over this am.

Bittern is being seen regularly on Meadow Lake particularly at dusk. Whoopers are also dropping in fairly often and Hawfinch seen flying over daily. The Starling murmuration has been seen over the reserve every evening since last weekend.
