Wood Sorrel/Dandelion/Moschatel.

Wood Sorrel seen today in Plock Wood. Dandelion Y.V.Park. also I have it on good authority quite a bit of Moschatel was seen in Plock Wood over the Easter weekend. It is something I have never seen myself so went to look today. I wasnt quite sure if i was looking in the right place. as i couldnt find it.

We have some in Cuerden but not out yet. It is quite small and the flowers tend to be similar colour to leaves

But Which or where is Plock Wood please

You need to be Dixon of Plock ( Dock) Green to find it out :lol: is it the woods behind Eaves Green by any chance

Sorry, I saw mine on Cuerden Valley Park. I have only lived in Chorley for 20 yrs so still don't know all the local names. (I'm an incomer from Preston)

Hi Dave only just seen your posting. Plock Wood is Off Eaves green. I will have to have another look as I wasnt looking in the right place for y the Moschatel. Nora.

Thanks Nora Ive googled Moschatel, lovely looking flower I'll be keeping my eyes open for them are they common at Birkacre as well
