11 blackbirds first thing this morning .
syd brook first light , brook 99% frozen , odd fiedfare , heard siskin , a cock pheasant left its roosting tree , small amounts of woodpigeon were flying in .
NEARLY FORGOT A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE !

I should not have been surprised to see a really bright star in the (south) east at first light this morning!

Venus, I think, but it was too cold to set up the telesope outdoors and double glazing doesn't do much for image quality!
