A winter wonderland today, but still some wild life around. Lower Healey - 30+ Fieldfares, 4 Blackbirds, 1 Robin, 1 Wren. And on the Nab there was a flock of 50+ mixed birds consiting of Goldfinches, Blue and Great Tits, Long Tailed Tits, and a couple of Linnets. By the quarry there was a small group of 4 Greenfinches, several Jays a small group of 6 passing Jackdaws and 1 GS Woodpecker. Mid afternoon 3 swans flew over (couldn't get the Bins on them fast enough to ID) travelling south-east. There were lots of Hare and Deer tracks in the snow, and late afternoon a Buzzard was soaring above Stronstrey Bank.
