Barn Owl(Rivington Rd)

Post by Richard P Todd »

Hi all on my way back from a meeting in darwen i decided to come back the scenic route ,through belmont where i observed a barn owl hunting low over moorland at first i tought it may of been the gyr falcon from a few weeks back but no. Then saw a kestrel on back lane. Pretty rough out there.

There seems to be a good stock of barnies at the mo, seen 4 in different areas in last month. Iv just got two boxes up in local barns for them recently.
