After a week taking in the sun & birds of Fuerteventura it was quite a shock to come back to the wintry conditions.despite plenty of food there seems less birds around the garden.Up to 17 Rooks regularly around gardens with 2 or 3 coming ino my garden to feed.19/12 Pied Wagtail with one also outside Spar on Runshaw Lane.a few visits from up to 5 long tailed tits.1 Goldcrest 20/12.
4 Redwing at Balshaw Lane Station 21/12 with 1 in a Runshaw Lane garden 24/12 & c8 over Euxton Library 25/12.
Excellent feeding flock on fields between Primrose Hill and motorway consisting of 57 Redwing,25 Fieldfare,c100 Black headed gulls,c15 Lapwing,100+ Starling.
