eccleston, heskin, and rare home visitor.

eccleston syd brook, flushed 5 snipe out of a ditch, heard raven again,
k nowles wood, 2 gs woodpecker and mixed tit flock.
heskin hall area, 1 tree sparrow, 1 gs woodpecker, 2 bullfinch , 1 buzzard, 1 nuthatch, 1 pheasant , there was plenty of grey squirrel about in all the area with numbers hitting double figures.
home highlight of the morning was a single reed bunting it was feeding with a chaffinch before the wife disturbed them (no comment) its only the second record for my garden in sixteen years also pied wagtail and 3 goldfinch were welcome visitors.
