Very windy! Heapey Fold Lane: 1 Blackbird, 1 chaffinch, 2 wood pigeons, several crows. Healey Nab: 1 Kestrel, several more crows, 1 buzzard on western side being mobbed by a crow, small flock of mixed tits on eastern side, several wrens and a GS woodpecker in woodland. 1 grey squirrel. Lots of fungi. The woodland floor, particularly on the southern side was covered in a golden carpet of larch needles.
