Birkacre Fungi again ID Needed please for the first one, approx height 1" growing on the ground
and the Scarlet Caterpillar Club (Cordyceps-militaris) revisited, it still there about 3 feet from the path not the 6ft I thought it was, very exposed, on the corner, so if you want to see it go soon, their tiny, also now I can see why they are called scarlet as you can see the red of them now Clicky Linky To google map

up on to Burgh lane south from Primrose hill on to the pond field head toward the Barrow/building site, over the muddy stream were the pallets are. follow the path as it curves right - there is a silver birch leaning over on the right they are under there, you have passed by them at the shrubby hawthorne , a lot have been eaten and but there were a couple of new ones coming up this morning.

We call that the pond field - If you look at your link the triangular shaped field above and left of the A the thin hedge line at the top has a few shrubby trees, the two distinct trees are the birch and hawthorne. Will have to take lessons on clicky links.
