Dragonflies and Butterflies Sites in the Coppull area ?

Hello All,

I would like to have a go at photographing Dragonflies and butterflies etc in the area in Coppull if possible if you know of any nice ponds etc please let me know.

The two that stand out to me are Burgh Hall Lane Pond and Hic Bibi Nature Reserve.

For Dragonflies from now until September is the best time as most species will be active, although July would have the most species. With their most active time being from 10:00 to 14:00, earlier in the morning they will be spending more time settled whilst warming up, that's good for photography but harder to spot them in the first place. For butterflies from now until August.
