In my garden saw Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Pheasant, Robins, Longtailed Tits, Great Tits Coal Tits and Chaffinch, pair of moor hens plus wood pigeons and lots of jackdaws.
Also heard an owl just around dusk, have heard it later at night but thought this was early? Only sightings in late summer. :)

If you live in the Chorley area and want to participate in our winter garden bird survey, I can send you a recording sheet. You just record the maximum number of each species seen in each week until the end of March. Not too onerous.
