Withnell Fold +Scrapes - again!

Back up there again today, this time looking at the lodge up from the canal (Cormorant tree lodge!), yesterday could hear Canada Geese up there but couldn't see so today went along top path - 121 Canada Geese- and nothing else!! The birds left at 11.15 am flying S.E. in 3 groups, heading Anglezarke/Rivington or possibly Belmont way??

The Corvid flock was again in the stubble field behind the scapes - a few more today, about 230 Jackdaws and 120 Rooks.

Also seen, Buzzard 1, Heron 1, Mallard 7 on scrapes +23 on canal, Moorhen 2 on canal, B H Gull 11 on scrapes

Swallows still around in numbers, probably saw 30/40, mainly up at Ollerton Farm, but no evidence of movement today.
