eccleston syd brook kingfishers

went for a walk this afternoon down the brook as i approached one of the bridges i heard a very loud high pitched noise ( nothing like a normal kingfisher call) almost a shreek i looked on the brook but i could not see anything seconds later 2 kingfishers flew out of some hanging branches together i can only think that maybe one was a juv which was annoying a parent or being attacked by a parent any ideas ?.
