Longworth Clough, nr Belmont

Post by Richard Else »

This site is just outside the Chorley recording area, but if I understand correctly the Chorley recorder still deals with records from here.

31/12/07
Siskin: a single flock of 110+ present this afternoon in alders. The biggest flock I have ever seen in the area.

Fieldfare: 35+, including a heavily leucistic bird- pure white head, neck and throat.

Redwing: 50+, and an additional 28 overhead.
