Plentiful butterflies this afternoon. First Gatekeeper of the year, dozens of Meadow Brown and Small Tortoiseshell. Large, Small and Green-veined White, Large and Small Skipper, Red Admiral, and Comma,and Silver Y Moth as well.
Emperor, Brown Hawker and Four Spotted Chaser on the small pond.
Hobby seen again (also possibly yday evening too). Single Ring Necked Parakeet over flying north. Cormorant and Grey Heron flew into the lodge.
Realised as well, that after my cycle to Southport and back this morning I had cycled over 1000 miles during lockdown! Cycle list currently at 106.
