Anglezarke moor

It was good to see the moors get another much needed soaking today, even though I did get pretty soaked myself!

Sightings inbetween the showers
Skylark 10+ singing. Meadow Pipit c50. Curlew 2-3. Lapwing 2. Common Snipe. Raven 2. Peregrine. Buzzard. Kestrel 2. Grey Heron 2 overhead.

2 Hobby sightings, a couple of miles apart, but may have been the same bird.

family party of Reed Bunting near Old Rachels. Stonechat families at Limestone Clough and Sams pasture.

Lesser Redpoll. Goldcrest 3. Willow Warbler 4 singing. Grey wagtail. Bullfinch and Goldfinch at Lead mine Clough.

Meadow Brown 2. Small Heath on the moor.

Small Skipper 2. Small Tortoiseshell and a Comma at LMC.
