Bits and pieces

Post by Dave Beevers »

Garden---occasional visits from juv Nuthatch and GS Woodpecker.
In April a Wood Pigeon built a very flimsy nest in hawthorn. after sitting for a couple of weeks the nest totally collapsed. After a couple of weeks it tried again and was just as hopeless. It has now rebuilt again and has been sitting for the last week but again there is hardly any substance to the nest. i don't hold out much hope for success.
