Brinscall to White Coppice

8am to 10am walk from Brinscall along the Goit to White Coppice. Hazy views looking onto moors due to sun & smoke coming off Darwen Moor.

Distant views of male Cuckoo (above Sharrocks) also heard female calling (once) / 2 Grey Wagtail (on Goit) / Nuthatch chicks being fed by parents / Treecreeper / plenty of Willow Warbler & Chiffchaff / single Dipper slightly south of cricket pitch / whitethroat / skylark
