Croston/mawdesley moss .

Several pied wagtail , 2 kestrel ( one dropped on a rodent while watching the plough ) lots of gulls following the plough , 2 buzzard , 10 yellowhammer , 9 corn bunting , flock of mixed finches ( around 80 goldfinch/ linnets ) , lapwings seen on several fields , 3 chiffchaff , 1 singing blackcap , no sign of any wheatear , pair of grey partridge , several mallard and shelduck , 2 gs peckers , several singing skylark , meadow pipits moving over , several reed bunting singing .

Blackcap brings my year list up to 97 species .
