White Coppice to Anglezarke Reservoir

Birds seen/heard - 1 Bullfinch* (Heapey Road), 1 Mistle Thrush* (Coppice Lane), 60+ Mallard, 2 Raven, 3 Carrion Crow, 3 Blackbird, 1 Song Thrush, 4 Robin, 6+ Goldfinch, 1 Great Tit, 2 Blue Tit, coal Tit heard, 3 Cormorant over, 1 Great Black-backed & 4 Black-headed Gulls Gull on Anglezarke Reservoir, 2 Woodcock* flushed by dog walkers on Stronstey Bank (one came within 20ft of me) and 3 Common Buzzard seen towards Heatherlea Woods.

3 new species today (*) and a Little Egret seen in a field of Black Moor Road, Mawdesley yesterday afternoon (on my way to Martin Mere) takes my species total to 81.
