The redwing were dispersed in smaller groups this week: CE vicarage, Euxton park (fields and woods) and Millenium Green. Lots of hazel catkins. Snowdrops in full bloom.

Pear Tree Lane to CE Church: song thrush and great tits singing, blue tits, blackbirds, 2 magpie siting next to last year's nest, c6 rooks, goldfinch, wood pigeon, redwings and fresh mole hills.

Ransnap Woods: 6 jackdaw b.g.&lt tits, song thrush, robin, jay, treecreeper, nuthatch, wood pigeon, 2 grey squirrels.

Euxton Park: blackbird, pair of nuthatch, g,b,lt tits, redwings, several mistle thrush, wren, goldfinch, 3 crows, gs pecker drumming (one seen at millenium green - maybe the same bird that was drumming)
