Reservoirs

A wander around the reservoirs this morning,

Yarrow reservoir.
A freshly dead common toad was a surprise.
Mallard 15. Tufted duck 2. Canada goose 3. *Common gull 5.

Upper Rivington reservoir.
Buzzard. Teal 6. Cormorant 14.

Anglezarke reservoir.
Mallard c20. *Mandarin 24. Raven 2. Bullfinch.

High Bullough reservoir.
Goldeneye 6 (4 males- 2 females) Tufted duck 6. Mallard 48.

*2 new sightings plus Great spotted Woodpecker in the garden and House Sparrow in Euxton take my score to 63

Quick tour this morning:-
Lower Rivington:- Mallard 6, GC Grebe, Cormorant 3, LBB Gull
Upper Rivington:- Mallard 4, Cormorant c20
Anglezarke:- Mandarin 6*, Mallard 20+, Goldeneye 3*, GC Grebe, BH Gull 100+, Common Gull 2, LBB Gull 2, Raven 2*, Feral Pigeon*, GS Pecker, fl LT Tit, Nuthatch, Bullfinch*
Mammals:- Grey Squirrel 2
High Bullough:- Nothing. The reservoir has been drained still further and the Goldeneye had relocated to Anglezarke res.

Five new* take me to 55
