Croston/mawdesley moss .

85 whooper swans , 6 mute swans and 6 canada geese on the un harvested wheat field on the finney , possibly 2 pairs of stonechat either side of the railway , flushed 20+ snipe and 2 jack snipe near to loch meadow , 3 kestrel , 1 buzzard , 40+ fieldfare passed over , 2 mistle thrush , blackbird , 2 song thrush , 9 lapwing , 10+ partidge sp in one covey near to the railwayline , several meadow pipit , 2 goosander on the douglas , 1 cormorant .

Drinkhouse Lane, Finney Lane east of rail line and Moss Lane; 60 plus Fieldfare probably more with a lesser number of Redwing. 1 Kestrel. Magpies. Lots of Blackbirds. Several Wren. Several Goldfinch and Meadow Pipits bathing with 4 Yellowhammers 2m and 2 f. B/G Tits. Woodpigeons. Collared Doves. Corvids. 4 Pied Wagtails. 1Mistle Thrush. Robin. 70 plus Starlings. 1 Corn Bunting. 5 Moorhen and 1 Dunnock.
