Early morning visit in the drizzle , 1 lapwing , 3 curlew , 7 snipe , 10 grey partridge ( 2 coveys 5 , 5 ) , 10 alba wagtail with small numbers of meadow pipit , 2 cormorant , 1 goosander , 50 linnet , 1 sparrowhawk , 1 kestrel , 1 buzzard , several chiffchaff , .

Afternoon visit, also in the drizzle.
Pink footed Geese c150 headed west. Canada Goose 5. Goosander 7 over the Douglas. Moorhen 3+1 small chick. Grey Heron. Lesser black backed Gull c130. Herring Gull c80. Curlew 3. Kestrel 2. Buzzard. Linnet 50+. Goldfinch 80+. Sedge Warbler skulking in one of the ditches. Swallow 5-10. House Martin 50-60. Great spotted Woodpecker.
