3 Common Buzzard including a juvenile, 2 Kestrel including one that was attacked by a Raven and 2 House Martins joined in.

8 House Martin feeding above the house at lunchtime and a flock of 20+ Hirundines feeding over former quarry this evening.

1 Red Admiral, 2 Large White Butterflies and one small butterfly (seen several times) but not positively identified yet.

1 Migrant Hawker Dragonfly

1 Common Newt found in the garden (that's 3 times I have found one this year).

The party of mostly swallows were moving along above the former railway cutting later.

Ten starling, including 8 juveniles, on fat balls today -been a good year for them

22 starling today including one with a white tail

20+ today disturbed by female sparrowhawk at great speed
