Specked wood -6, meadow brown, red admiral, green veined white-2, common blue. Common carder, only bee seen.
Several stands of field scabious which were the nectar source for all of the above.
Flocks of blue/great/long tailed tits; blackbird, magpie,chiffchaff calling, about ten swallows over.
Grey squirrel.
Many ash trees already dropping leaves -ash dieback?
