Great Hanging Bridge to Mawdesley Moss

Early evening visit to the mosses and good to be out & about again after a busy few weeks.

Star bird was a young brown Cuckoo showing very well in the field near the derelict barn on Sumners Lane.

Also seen were 25-30 House Martin/Swallow, 2 Kestrel, 10 Pied Wagtail on the Carr Lane flood, few LBB Gull, 4 Linnet, 5 Tree Sparrow and a Whitethroat heard.

35-40 Painted Lady and a single Red Admiral.

One Brown Hare.
