Croston/mawdesley moss .

Arrived from the nook lane end , 6 yellowhammer , 6 corn bunting ( family group of 4 ) , heard bullfinch , 2 whitethroat , robin , chaffinch , goldfinch , just 1 swallow , group of around 8 skylark jumped up but soon went back in cover , 6 linnet , 6 pied wagtail , 2 golden plover were on a damp field next to the main croston / mawdesley track , the track parallel also looked promising for waders to drop in with several pools created , stubble field next to carr lane also had a large pool ( looked good for green sandpiper ) 18 canada geese and several mallard feeding on the stubble , .
