Plenty of biting horse flies which made it difficult birding at times , at least 4 yellowhammer , 1 reed bunting , heard corn bunting , buzzard , kestrel , blackbird , wren , pigeons and crows , 1 pied wagtail , 1 swift ( several swift seen around the church at the c rossroads in the village ) , mallard with 5 well grown young on the douglas .
