The water level of Anglezarke reservoir has plunged even further, so the northern section is virtually dry apart from the channel and a couple of pools, so fingers crossed for good wader migration! Today, there were just 2 Oystercatcher and a dozen Lapwing, plus Pied Wagtail, Moorhen and a mixture of gulls on the water's edge. These included 8 adult and 14 juvenile BH Gulls, 18 adult and 1 juvenile LBB Gull and a single Herring Gull.
In the woodland was a Blackbird still in full song, GS Woodpecker, Nuthatch and a family group of at least 4 Spotted Flycatchers. A Buzzard flew over calling.
Mammals:- 2 Roe deer
