Birds seen; House Sparrows. Swallows, 30 plus on the wires and flying around. 1 Buzzard hovering like a Kestrel. 3 Kestrels together, at least 2 Juveniles. Reed Buntings. Corvids. Woodpigeons. Stock Doves. Blackbirds. 10 plus Mistle Thrush, Juveniles mixed in. 3 Juvenile Lapwings. 2 Juvenile Pied Wagtails. 2 RL Partridge. Linnets. Goldfinch. 3 Yellowhammers, one singing. 1 Dunnock. Chaffinch. Meadow Brown, Small Tortoiseshell, Small White, Gatekeeper and several Painted Lady Butterflies. good year for the latter this year. 3 Brown Hares. 6 Swifts on Runshaw Lane.
