3 dead hedgehogs on the A6 between Chorley and Walton Summit this morning.
Does this mean the hedgehog numbers are increasing this year, or they have nowhere left to roam so are having to cross more roads?

Big question -is it good to see dead animals as it proves they are there -or is road mortality threatening to send numbers lower still?

A mole back in our garden -periodically one returns, presumably making use of previously dug runs.-don't know whether to be pleased to have another creature proving the garden is healthy-plenty of worms etc- or annoyed when the lawn is dug up!

What is a cat-proof but hedgehog friendly feeding station? I could do with one of them.

Any I had would need to be labrador proof which I think would exclude all living things!

Cat-proof hedgehog feeding station made out of various brieze blocks ,bricks & ex rockery rocks with u-shaped entrance and a couple of heavy bricks weighing down the removable board roof to get the food in. Won't exclude rodents or a determined fox.
