Morning stroll.
Eyes Lane/ River Douglas.
Common Whitethroat 5. Sedge Warbler 2. Reed Warbler 3, one carrying food. Yellowhammer 4. Buzzard. singing Skylark. Moorhen with 2 recently hatched chicks on one of the ditches.
Canal at Sollom.
Reed Warbler c10. Chiffchaff. family group of Reed Bunting. Moorhen 3+2 small chicks. Mallard c10. Common Tern. Oystercatcher 2.
Distant flock of 30-40 mixed hirundines over Great hanging Bridge
Butterflies.
Painted Lady 3. Small Tortoiseshell 4. Red Admiral 3. Meadow Brown 7. Gatekeeper 3. Comma. Several small/large Whites
