7.30-10.0pm - male tawny owl flew through (significantly smaller than the female I've seen in the same wood), 8 swift and a kestrel above Stronstrey, juvenile stonechat, tree sparrow, redpoll - 1 overhead and 1 perched up, redstart, willow warbler (incl juveniles), bullfinch (m). The pied flycatchers look to have disappeared after successfully fledging their young a few days ago.

Apparently a goshawk was seen and photographed at White Coppice last night (Thurs) - maybe attracted by the large numbers of woodpigeon feeding on the side of the moor.

Hic Bibi (20/06 lunchtime) - saw a huge emperor dragonfly (among the 4-spotted and broad-bodied chasers and a red damselfly) - first one I've seen at the site.
